Keogh for schools, lands, energy
C. Burt Caldwell, Missoulian Letter to the Editor
I am supporting Connie Keogh to be the next state representative for House District 91 because she will represent several things which I believe to be important to the future of Montana.
I believe our future, as always, will be in the hands of our current youth, who must be educated to make good decisions. Therefore, I support funding for all our schools so better future decisions will be made. Keogh has 35 years as an educator and will support strengthening our public school systems.
I moved to Montana several years ago for the open spaces, public access to great rivers, fresh air and clean water. I know Connie Keogh, and I know she will work to keep public lands in public hands.
Montana has a lot of sunny days, wind and rivers, together capable of providing more energy than we need. Renewable energy will reduce our carbon footprint and Keogh will champion these energy sources and reducing the energy cost for the average Montana family.
As the husband and father of intelligent, strong-willed women, I support equal rights in work, health care, insurance costs, and the right to make their own decisions about their bodies.
Vote for Connie Keogh!
