Keogh stands out with hard work
Robin Hamilton, Missoulian Letter to the Editor
I represented part of Missoula (including the Rattlesnake Valley) in the Montana legislature from 2005 to 2010 when it was House District 92. Now I am pleased to endorse Connie Keogh for what has become House District 91.
An educator for 35 years, she will fight for better funding for education, better training for teachers, and better conditions in schools across the state.
Keogh will also be a powerful advocate for protection of public lands and continued access to these essential pieces of Montana. She understands the priorities of all parts of the state, having grown up on a ranch in south-central Montana before finally settling in Missoula.
When choosing among good candidates in a primary election, I am persuaded by one critical factor: hard work. Keogh started early and continues to try to make contact with everyone in her district and does the leg work required of a successful candidate. I am sure that Keogh will work as hard in Helena as she has on her campaign.
If you live in HD 91, a vote for Keogh will insure that you are well represented in the 2019 Legislature.
